Firm commitment needed to end corruption in country, Dr BRB says

Bhaktapur, June 9 (RSS):
Former Prime Minister and Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that the politicians should advance ahead with firm commitments to end corruption in the country.

In his inaugural speech at the party’s central committee meeting started on Thursday, Chairman Dr Bhattarai said that politicians and government employees should make such commitments to curb corruption.

“The ill-practice of corruption has peaked. Time has come to seek those not indulged in corruption. We are going through a very serious infectious stage of corruption,” he argued.

Dr Bhattarai stated that the country should achieve the target of prosperity by delivering good-governance and ending corruption in the country.
Likewise, NSP Chairman Dr Bhattarai said Nepal’s leftist parties cannot sustain longer in status quo and pitched for a unity among progressive, democratic and socialist forces.
