NPL Cricket 2025: Lumbini and Pokhara, and Sudurpaschim and Janakpur competing today

Kathmandu, Nov 29: Two matches are taking place today in the second edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL) underway in the capital.
In the first match to be held at the TU International Cricket Stadium at 11.45 am, Lumbini Lions and Pokhara Avengers are competing while defending champion Janakpur Bolts and runner-up Sudurpaschim are taking on in the second match to be held at 4.00 pm today.
Lumbini under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel has so far won one among four matches while Kushal Bhurtel-led Pokhara has secured win in one among three matches.
Lumbini is on the seventh position while Pokhara has maintained sixth place in the score table.
Both the teams are under pressure to secure victory today to keep their possibility for play-off.
Likewise, Janakpur is facing Sudurpaschim in the second match to be held this afternoon.
Janakpur has scored zero point in three march so far while unbeaten Sudurpaschim in four matches has maintained its top position in the score table.
The match between the defending champion and runner-up is expected to be interesting.
