Kathmandu: Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company (SALICO) will host the ‘SALICO Golf Tournament 2026’ this coming Saturday, October 31. The tournament will take place at the scenic golf course of the Gokarna Forest Resort in Kathmandu.
Approximately 100 amateur golfers, including key representatives from the corporate sector, will participate in the event. Players will compete on an 18-hole championship-standard, par-72 course. Furthermore, the event aims to foster competitive play while building meaningful relationships, collaboration, and friendship among participants.

The organizers will award prizes across various competitive categories. These categories include winners and runners-up for both men and women, Best Gross, Senior, Super Senior, Most Birdies, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Drive.
Additionally, the tournament features an extraordinary major highlight. The first player to score a hole-in-one at hole number 10 will win a brand-new Tata Nexon car. Consequently, this grand prize has significantly amplified excitement among competitors.
