Kathmandu, June 22 (RSS):
The Rotary International District 3292 has decided to present this year’s Rotary Journo Award to five journalists including RSS Board member and feature news chief Krishna Adhikari.
The award carries a purse of Rs 51,000 and a letter of appreciation. He wins the award in recongistion of his contribution to the health sector through journalism.
Others winning the awards are Prakriti Adhikari (education), Rudra Bahadur Khadka (economic development), Rupani Gharti Magar (women and community development) and Asmita Rijal ( youth and new generation). The awards will be presented on coming Saturday.
According to award selection committee chair Suresh Acharya, the Club earlier had sought applications from nationwide calling for participating in the award procedures.
